Hello, I'm Maryam Khan.
I’m a Product Designer based in Queens, NYC and recent grad with a BFA in Advertising & Digital Design.
Sitting at the intersection of Product Design are my three different fields of interest: Design Thinking, Human-centered Design, and Sociology. It’s helped convince me to pursue a career in this field and Product Design has created an outlet for me to use my sensitivity to my advantage, turning my biggest weakness into my greatest strength.
Life feels like it’s been on pause lately but some of my post pandemic plans include traveling outside the country. Until then, I’ll be practicing henna designs and learning to take film pictures.

Staying present helps me as I establish trust, collaborate, and understand others points of view.
Continually refining designs pushes me to improve usability issues until I reach a solution.
It serves me as a reminder to always redirect my attention back to the users’ needs.
